A Message from the Owners

Not the message we wished to bring.

Owing to the increased financial demands of Land Tax, Hospitality Tax, insurance, operating costs and compliance, we have made the extremely difficult decision to close our Self Catering B&B, Lawson’s Cottage.

We appreciated the many people who took the time to leave a review in our guest book and on our online platforms.

A big thankyou to all our loyal guests who used our cottage over the past 14 years, many of you visiting more than once.

This was a family business, and to our family members who provided the service, Emily, Melissa, Wilma and Carolyn, and to the helpers, Dirk and Shayne. We thank you for all your support.

Sadly Lawson’s Cottage will no longer take any bookings past June 12th.
